Be a team leader

How Do I Become a Team Leader?
Becoming a team leader is an excellent way to improve your leadership and management skills and meet new single people! It is easy, doesn't take much time, and is really fun, plus it looks great on a resume.

Please review the following responsibilities and contact svbteamleaders@yahoo.com to sign up or if you have any questions.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

* Serve as the SVB representative for a one-time event
* Respond to and register volunteers for the volunteer event using a yahoo e-mail account provided by SVB
* Answer questions and provide directions to the SVB volunteers as they contact you. Note that the directions to the volunteer event are provided for the teamleader by SVB's Leadership.
* Compile a list of SVB volunteers
* Close the event for sign ups when you have enough volunteers.
* Arrive at the event early and stay for the entire duration of the event.
* Greet and introduce SVB volunteers to each other as they arrive (or have name tags available).
* Keep volunteers working as groups to give them an opportunity to socialize.
* Plan/attend an optional after event networking activity (dinner, lunch, etc.) following the event.
