How Do I Become a Project Leader?
Becoming a project leader is an excellent way to improve your leadership and management skills and meet new single people! It is easy, doesn't take much time, and is really fun, plus it looks great on a resume.

Project Leader Responsibilities:

Serve as the SVB representative for a one-time event

Respond to and register volunteers for the volunteer event using a Eventbrite log in provided by SVB

Answer questions and provide directions to the SVB volunteers as they contact you. Note that the directions to the volunteer event are provided for the project leader by SVB's Leadership.

Compile a list of SVB volunteers * Close the event for sign ups when you have enough volunteers. This is now done thru Eventbrite.

Arrive at the event early and stay for the entire duration of the event.

Greet and introduce SVB volunteers to each other as they arrive (or have name tags available). They can be printed out by Eventbrite. If you have a i phone or android phone you can check volunteers in using Eventbrite free app.

Keep volunteers working as groups to give them an opportunity to socialize.

Plan/attend an optional after event networking activity (dinner, lunch, etc.) following the event.

Send an after event volunteer list to those who attended. Thru Evenbrite.
